Attorney Bio

Aubrey Staples grew up in the tiny town of Echo, Utah where the animals far outnumber the people. She interned with Dodd & Kuendig in 2020 between her second and third year of law school. After graduating and passing the Utah bar, she became an Associate Attorney in 2021. Aubrey has spent her young career developing Utah’s Special Master law and hopes to continue progressing Utah’s laws. She has an interest in family law, personal injury, and general litigation.

She knows that there is no single approach that is effective for all cases and works to stay informed of new techniques and developments across the United States to better help her clients. Aubrey is a member of the International and Utah Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) chapters where she learns and discusses research that will assist families and children in conflict. She is also a member of the Utah Association for Justice which is an organization that promotes and advocates for the fair, prompt, and efficient administration of justice.

Education & Experience

Aubrey received her Juris Doctor at the University of Wyoming College of Law where she had the opportunity to intern for Utah 3rd District Court Judge Kent Holmberg between her first and second year of law school. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies from Utah Valley University. She enjoys technology and figuring out how it can better help her practice.

Aubrey is licensed to practice in Utah and Wyoming.

Hobbies & Interest 

In her free time, Aubrey enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner and their rescue dog, Stella.
